Julia Roberts put on nerdy glasses for an important cause yesterday – California’s Prop 87. Prop 87 is a proposal to tax oil companies and use the money to fund alternative fuel research, projects and education. In other words, let the oil companies put in their share to save the environment. Julia spoke at Mattell Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles to support the prop. It’s the same one Al Gore has done TV spots defending.
